
Jenifer writes book & lyrics for musicals, both adapted and original stories. She's a graduate of the Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and a Professional Writer Associate of Mercury Musical Developments (MMD). She also teaches musical theatre writing craft, and general aspects of the art of storytelling and collaboration, and has written guidelines on business aspects of the musical theatre writing business that are used by MMD and the Writers Guild of Great Britain. The Savage by David Almond will be given a new adaptation from scratch, as a dance/choral-based project in development with YMT:UK in the summer of 2010, with music by Harvey Brough and direction by Leah Hausman.
