The Lego Hero's Journey
This writing workshop examines Joseph Campbell's theory of the journey of the hero, and is often combined with an examination of character archetypes.
Campbell's famous 'monomyth' describes a familiar pattern that can be found in both eastern and western mythology, and it can be remarkably useful in understanding an audience's connection with, and catharsis within, story as a whole.
It's a very practical workshop that uses a multitude of Lego to allow writers to build their own unique interpretation of the journey.
